SBP Assistant Director Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized Pakistani or foreign university. Foreign degrees need an HEC equivalence certificate.
- Relevant fields include Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Islamic Banking & Finance, Law, Business Administration, Physics and related disciplines.
- At least 60% marks, or CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 / 3.5 out of 5.0.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; no prior experience is required.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The maximum age is 26 years. A relaxation of 3 years is given to female candidates, transgender persons, minorities and candidates domiciled in Balochistan, AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan and ex-FATA.
SBP Selection Process
- Online application on the SBP careers portal.
- Written / online test – English, quantitative ability, analytical reasoning, economics and current affairs.
- Interview by an SBP panel for shortlisted candidates.
- Training – selected candidates join the SBOTS program at the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF) before posting as Assistant Directors.
